This wonderful glass was imported into the United States from Southern France where artisans made the glass by hand. Vianne Glass was founded in 1928 by glass artisans in the Bordeaux region of France and was the last remaining glass blowing factory in France. Sadly, the Vianne factory shut down several years ago, making this beautiful French glass lamp shade extremely limited and rare. We carry shades in 2 1/4", 3 1/4", 4", and 10" fitters, as well as a variety of wall sconces.
The fitter is the outside diameter of the round opening at the small end of the shade where it attaches to the light fixture or lamp. Always measure from outside edge to outside edge.
